The villa sets amid 1,750 sqm of Balinese landscaping hidden on the back side of the villager’s homes, and only could be reached through a private access road ended at villa’s parking area. This is a guarantee that the villa is a real private home. Entering the main antique wooden gate, the first impression is an immediate feeling of an overwhelming coolness and joy set within a cozy seclusion because this tropical home is dominated by its spacious tropical garden with hundred kind of flowers.

The walled-compound comprises some self-standing structures roofed in traditional ‘alang-alang’: the main house, guest house, kitchen, open air dining area, and a Javanese house. 1. We stayed at Villa Taman Terra from the 6-8 December 2003.
Firstly a belated Merry X’mas and a happy New Year 2004 to you. I hope this email find you healthy and fine, and wishing you all the best for 2004.
I just like to thank you for your service and care during our stay in Taman Terra. Truely, it has been a memorable vacation for both my family and friends. And until today, about a month after, our friends are still singing praises of the villa, its beauty, the service staff and everything.
    (Singapore)
In fact, they seem to be rounding up more friends to make the next trip to Bali and to stay with Bali Nice Rate.
So do keep us on your mailing list, if you have one, and highlight any promotions or recommendations that you might have. Thank you very much once again.

  2. Terimakshi banyak to all… Arigato…I’m very happy to come to this villa!

Before I didn’t know there is how nice place in the world. Just like a paradise.
In the morning I wake up listening the voices of birds, the farmer start to work in the rice field, have a breakfast in the beautiful garden.

All my family often go to beach, Sanur and Nusa Dua. Thanks to Tolly, you are a very good, safety driver. I was surprized because you know many beaches we want to go, what beaches is like.

To tell you the truth, this time we suddenly decided to come to Bali. Because my father is sick (cancer) he didn’t have times and opportunity to have a trip for long time to receive medical treatment, so this trip is a present for my father.
He still can not move his leg perfectly, can not feel too. But he tried to dive twice in Nusa Dua but in fact his doctor said to him, “Dont’t go diving” through.
If he didn’t try diving this time, I think not only father but also my mother, sister and I would regret very much. So he could gain confidence in himself and enjoyed having holiday in Bali, especially in Villa Taman Terra.
He really liked reading books, sitting on the step which next to garden. He seems very happy.

Thanks to Alit, we were impressed with your dishes you cooked every time. It’s very enak-enak… Jaan-jaen!! All dishes are first time to us. We really like fried frawns, curry, soto ayam, cap chai, nasi goreng, pisang goreng and steam fish.
We were looking forward to having dinner every night. But also it’s very nice pan cake, french toast you made in the morning. My mother and I really want to learn your cooking.

And thank you to Wayan and Ketut. You are very nice Balinese girls. We could understand that women in Bali are very polite and modesty and keeping smile. We could relax in villa rooms always clean and I really like you put flowers on the bed and bathroom and everywhere.
Also I could see the culture of Bali Hindu when you offer flowers and foods on the gods every whores. I could learn a lot of things through culture of Bali.
Also thank you to Wayan and the other staff for security and cleanning the garden and pool, because you were here, we could feel very easy and peace and safety. My father is sick and my mother and sister and I are all women but I had no anxienty.

One more thing, we had good experience. Yuka my sister has friends in Bali. So we could have times to communicate with them everyday. They took us to their home. We could understand the life and the home of Balinese and Javanese. If only staying in Hotel we could not to have a such a wonderful experiences.
I think Balinese are very natural, taking nature for a friend and honesty.

At last, thank you to Tony. I enjoyed talking with you about your life and Bali. We could get stimulus from you stories. We have to learn a lof from you, and I think I have to do my best in my life for the future.

So, if we have much money, we would like to come again, and meet you all. Go back to Japan, must work hard though…
Selamat Tinggal, Sampai Jumpa. Makashi… Love from Yoshiktsu family.
    (Japan)

  16. God be praised….

    for something as quaint and as simple as this;
    yes, when once considered norm to us natives;
mosquito coils…crude grooves in the Meranti….
    rooms smelling of old attics…
bare breasted women with life possession on their heads….
odd pitched notes of Gamelan and Bamboo ensemble that refuse to assimilate with those of the pianoforte….now revered in surreal light that beams from the justaposition of cold hearted unsmiling faces of city fold and the compunctionless, death inducing stress factor from their life style…
the appreciation of the blessings of a peek into a time and place we once knew and lived and will always love (the only a few days) are indelibly stamped into the 3 of us …truly.

    God be praised!
    Alex - Dian.

  17. My friend Alex has put down beautiful words to describe an eden (written above) and I can not come near to this apt. description but I feel compelled to say that the world is full of incredible and fabulous places but the happiness and serenity that I feel being here have ontmatched anywhere I have been before.

I thank God and my two most wonderful friends for sharing this with me and making my holiday an experience I will lock away in the deepest place in my heart.

    Dian
….I simply adore this heavenly place or shall I say “God’s little acre!!”

  20. We have had a marvelous time at Taman Terra! The wonderful breeze, the beautifully landscaped gardens, the strategically placed bales to lounge around on, the very clean pool for the kids to play in.

Thank you too for the friendliness of the staff, especially Ketut who made an effort to play with Ariane who was not the easiest of babies this trip.

We look forward to coming back again.
